McLennan, CEO of the International Living Future Institute, which focuses on the transformation to a socially just, culturally rich, and ecologically restorative world, is the author of 4 books, including the classic The Philosophy of Sustainable Design, and the founder of the Living Building Challenge, the world's most progressive green building certification program. McLennan won the prestigious Buckminster Fuller Prize in 2012.
